Intuit Social Innovation Challenge
Intuit’s Social Innovation Challenge engage students from nonprofit partners and school districts to leverage design thinking to develop innovative solutions that help increase access to entrepreneurship and small business ownership for underrepresented groups.
LifeSmarts
LifeSmarts is a national educational competition focused on personal finance and consumer topics. It complements the curriculum already in place in schools and can be used as an activity for classes, student leadership organizations, clubs, and community organizations. This free program, open to 6th-12th-grade students in the United States, quizzes students about personal finance, technology & workforce preparation, consumer rights & responsibilities, health & safety, and the environment.
The Stock Market Game
Students in the FBLA SMG may work individually or in teams of two to five members to build and manage a successful investment portfolio of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, using a hypothetical $100,000.
Virtual Business Challenge
FBLA high school members will be able to participate in both qualifying rounds for both tracks of this Virtual Business Challenge (VBC) event... One track focuses on personal finance, and the other, management. Each track encourages FBLA members to test their skills within its particular Virtual Business environment – individually or as a team of up to three members. Team registration begins on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
CSAs
FBLA CSAs (Community Service Awards) are acknowledgments presented by the Future Business Leaders of America to members who actively engage in community service and volunteerism. These awards recognize and celebrate the dedication of FBLA students in making positive contributions to their communities, fostering a spirit of social responsibility and civic engagement among members.
BAAs
FBLA BAAs (Business Achievement Awards) are a series of competitive recognition programs offered by the Future Business Leaders of America. These awards encourage FBLA members to develop essential business skills, leadership abilities, and explore career interests through a range of self-paced, goal-oriented activities. By completing different levels of BAAs, students demonstrate their commitment to personal and professional growth while earning prestigious recognition within the organization.
